In May 2016, Ray Gates successfully defended Renown Regional Medical Center and two of its physicians in a case filed in the Second Judicial District Court in Reno, Nevada. The matter involved an allegation of a failure to diagnose an aortic dissection. A defense verdict was returned by the jury.
