Brian A. Rosenthal

Brian Rosenthal practices exclusively in civil litigation with an emphasis on defending insureds and self-insureds in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death and elder abuse actions. He has had significant experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including multiple jury trials with favorable results.

Brian began his legal career in 2000 as an attorney and military officer in the United States Navy Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corp in Norfolk, Virginia. While in the JAG Corps, Brian was able to gain significant trial experience and obtained favorable results in a number of court martial jury trials. Following discharge from the Navy, he worked as an associate attorney at the medical malpractice defense firm of Schuering Zimmerman & Doyle, LLP in Sacramento, California, from 2005-2008. Brian joined Lauria Tokunaga Gates & Linn, LLP as an associate attorney in 2008 and became an equity partner in 2014.

Brian grew up in Sacramento, California and graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. He graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2000 where he excelled in moot court and received an award for excellence in legal writing.
