Cole W. Smith-Crowley
Cole Smith-Crowley defends clients in a variety of cases, including premises liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and federal and state civil rights claims. Prior to joining Lauria Tokunaga Gates and Linn, LLP as an associate attorney in 2025, Cole worked for the state defending against allegations of premises liability and employee or employer negligence, and in private practice on questions of premises liability and insurance coverage analysis.
Cole was born and raised in Sacramento, California and graduated from Warren Wilson College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History and Political Science in 2011. He also graduated from The Evergreen State College with a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and Central Asian Studies in 2017. Cole graduated from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly UC Hastings) in 2020 and the Graduate School of Management at the University of California, Davis in 2021.
