Brian A. Rosenthal

Brian Rosenthal engages in a civil litigation practice emphasizing defending insureds and self-insureds in medical malpractice, personal injury, wrongful death and elder abuse actions.

Brian began his legal career in 2000 as an attorney and military officer in the United States Navy’s Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps in Norfolk, Virginia. While in the JAG Corps, Brian was able to gain significant trial experience and zealously defended his clients with favorable results in a number of court-martial jury trials.

After fulfilling his obligation to the United States Navy in 2004, Brian returned to his home town of Sacramento, California, and joined the law firm of Scheuring, Zimmerman, Scully, Tweedy & Doyle, LLP and engaged substantially in the practice of medical malpractice and elder abuse defense. Brian joined Lauria, Tokunaga, Gates & Linn, LLP in early 2008.

Brian graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history. He graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 2000. While at Santa Clara, Brian participated in moot court and received an award for legal writing excellence.
